Where are pickleball courts located in Hastings?
Hastings has 8 brand new lighted courts at Roadside park located at Hwy 55 and 10th street. See map below.

What does "Open Play" mean?
Open play announcements are sent out as a way for players to meet at the courts and play with lots of other players. ALL ARE WELCOME. Some courts will have players just learning the sport, while others will be more advanced. Feel free to rotate in with players who have similar skills as yours.

What are the Blue and White boxes by the courts?
These boxes are for letting you get in line to join the next game. On the front of the box, there is a sliding sign "Next". Put your paddle in a hole and when it's your turn, you can play on a court.

What is Rally scoring vs. Traditional scoring?
In traditional scoring, only the serving team can score. With Rally scoring, a point is scored by either team on every serve, whoever wins the point. These games are normally played to 15, but are quicker paced and works better when people are waiting to play.
